Ceri Houlbrook. Continues with her research on coin trees (trees into which coins have been inserted edgeways). The aim is to better understand the origins of the trees and the associated Scottish folklore tradition which has survived since the eighteenth century.
Elizabeth Hannah. Undertaking a research project into the historical and literary representation of King Arthur in Scotland in the Middle Ages. Some of the investigation will involve review of relevant documents held by the British Library.
Derek Hall. Researching the importation of medieval pottery from Germany. The project involves the assessment and cataloguing ceramics from excavations in Scotland.
Brigitta Hoffman. Funding provided to support a project which aims to locate and record Roman sites between Stracathro and the East coast.
Mary Peteranna / Stephen Birch. Funding provided to support the Cromarty Burgh Community Project and specifically to enable ground to be geo-physically surveyed.
Anne Holdorph. An award has been granted to help with the costs of research into Jewish Youth Groups 1880 – 1939. As part of the project there will be an investigation of the Scottish Jewish Archives held at the Glasgow Mitchell Library.
Catherine Munro. Undertaking a research project into “nature, nation and conservation” in Shetland. Funding provided for expenses involved in fieldwork associated with the investigations.
Peter Yeoman. Undertaking research into the relationship between the early Columban Church on Iona and Rome.
Kilallan Kirk Preservation Trust. Funding support for the involvement of children in the adopt a monument project to preserve Kilallan Kirk, Renfrewshire and the development of a Young Archaeology Club.
